My Piece
I got into running because i want to lose weight and be fit. I achieved both and got more as an added bonus. I now appreciate the outdoors, have developed a fondness for running and mtbiking and especially, I gained new friends who share the same interests. You see, there's something about the outdoors that you will never get to know unless you experience it. I am just too glad that I did and will still do in hopefully many years to come.

The Phil International Marathon is so far the worst organized race I have joined, for starters, many participants were never issued race numbers , we were infromed that they were still with Mr. Rudy Biscocho.Worst yet was O\on the 10k finish line, the lady race official was not even interested in taking your time or number, saying “ok lang yan, dibale na time” parang fun run lang naman. runners had to wait at least 2 minutes literally lining up at the finish line. To boot, we were not allowed any water upon reaching the finish line, the marshals informed us 10k’ers that the water was reserved exclusive for the 42k runners. the water that was served at the water stations were scooped from a drum, resulting in Diarrhea for me. Have I mentioned that the 10k official race clock malfunctioned and failed to display our finish time’s.

Hi there!. I really like your website. We’ve joined 1 race so far sponsored by Pringles and we kinda like it (very much i guess). We’re planning to join the Takbo para sa Kalikasan this March. We hope to join more races this year, for fun and for a cause. Aim lang talaga namin ni Hubby matapos ung race kahit takbo-lakad-takbo lang ginagawa namin. good luck to you and your hubby’s running. don’t worry both of you will eventually get the hang of it and won’t need to walk anymore. i started with lakad-takbo-lakad also – as in mas marami pa ang walk. oh and i will be glad to meet you too. There is this DocFit race on Sunday at UP and yep Takbo Para sa Kalikasan the next and there’s this much-awaited Condura Run on the 22nd. If you are running in any of these, you may very well see me roaming around post-race.
