35th MILO Marathon 42km Qualifiers’ UPDATE

As MILO/Nestle Phils. Inc. and RunRio, Inc. finally move forward to capping the 35th MILO Marathon this year with the 35th MILO Marathon NATIONAL FINALS event happening on December 11 at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds, below are some important information particularly directed to the 42.195km qualifiers:

1. Call-outs were alread sent to the qualifiers for the “All-Expense Paid” 42.195km race.
2. Age group qualifiers have been sent call-outs as well but some names under this category are still being verified.
3. There were qualifiers from the provincial legs who were not able to respond to the call-outs. They are:

If you or somebody you know is in the list, kindly get in touch with RunRio, Inc. by calling 0927-380-0057. Look for Jomar or Abbie.
4. The Carbo Loading Party for the 42.195 qualifiers will be held on December 8, 5PM at the SM Mall of Asia’s MUSIC HALL.
5. The Age Group qualifiers are advised to bring their birth certificate during the Carbo Loading Party.

Meanwhile, the 5km race category slot have now been sold out. The remaining categories open for registration are 3km, 10km and 21km. Take note though that the 3km race category is for kids only or for adults who are accompanying kids running the 3km race.

35th Milo Marathon – Manila Elimination

As Nestle Philippines celebrates its 100th year of being part of the Filipino family, it takes its yearly Milo Marathon race into a higher level. For this year, NPI partners with Runrio, Inc. in organizing the 35th edition of the Milo Marathon Manila Eliminations and National Finals and also taps Runrio as the timing partner for all Provincial legs. This means that Milo will be the first one to make use of Runrio’s new disposable timing technology – the B-Tag (or the Bib-Tag). The B-tag is a timing device that is already attached to the bib – no need detach and attach into the shoelace!

But the best thing about this year’s edition of the Milo Marathon is that Nestle decided to donate 100 pairs of shoes to 100 schools nationwide! Awesome, huh!

Runners should reach a particular distance within the time limit specified to be allowed to continue with the race. Otherwise, runner must stop running and board the official vehicle. They are automatically disqualified and will be taken directly to the finish venue.

To qualify and compete in the national finals, runners in the 42.195K Manila elimination race will have to finish the race within the specified age-bracket and time:
