Runrio Leg 3: RUN UNITED 2 Important Announcement

The delivery of the singlets for the Runrio Leg 3 – Run United 2 has been on-going since November 3, 2010.   For all registered participants who have not yet received their singlets, below are updates regarding your singlet delivery.

Here is the list of singlets with confirmed delivery: LIST. For those who have not seen their names on the list and have not received their singlets, the following are some of the reasons for the failed delivery:
- incomplete information
- incorrect name
- incorrect delivery address or delivery address cannot be located
- when the delivery was made, there was nobody to receive the package
- singlet size was not indicated in the registration form

To ensure that all registered runners would have their singlets by the event, please see below singlet updates effective today, November 16, 2010 (Tuesday):

1. Please visit the Run United Singlet Claiming booth infront of ROX at the BHS from today until Nov. 19, 12pm to 9pm, for singlet claiming.  Please bring your RACE BIB for proper identification.

2. For those who are supposed to receive their singlets via delivery, delivery is still on-going.  But if you opt to just pick-up your singlets instead of having it delivered, YOU CAN PICK-UP YOUR SINGLET from any of the registration centers on the following dates (just present your RACE BIB):

from today until November 17:
- Planet Sports Trinoma
- TIMEX MOA

from today until November 19:
- ROX, BHS
- Singlet Claim Area infront of ROX, BHS

on race day, Nov. 20 and 21:
- Singlet Claim Tent at the event/activity area

Should you opt to pick-up your singlets instead of delivery, we will not stop delivery of your singlet as we cannot anymore pull it out from the courier/riders.  This can result to you receiving more than one singlet. In this case, you have the option to just refuse the receipt of singlet delivery or keep it. Runrio will not charge you if you chose to keep it. ;)

3. ONLINE registrants will have to wait for the delivery of the singlets which are already in-transit because we cannot anymore pull it out from the courier.

4. For those who got a wrong singlet size or damaged singlet, changes will be accepted in any of the registration centers and claim area starting today.  However this will be based on the availability of sizes.

Runrio Leg 3: Run United 2 Event Reminders

Hello folks! Here are the reminders and guidelines related to the two-day Runrio Leg 3 – Run United 2 event this coming Nov. 20-21. Read On!

A. ON PARKING AND SECURITY:

1. Illegal Parking:
There are numerous instances that runners, who may have arrived late or for any reason was not able to park their vehicles properly in designated parking areas, leave their vehicles anywhere and try to catch up with the race which may have already started or is due to start at any minute.

Bonifacio Global City, mainly it’s Security Group definitely do not recommend this practice and would like to remind everyone that this is considered as “illegal parking”. They say that this poses a serious security concern and attracts crime. Since the vehicle is left in a non-parking designated area, the vehicle may not be visible to the security people deployed in the parking areas. At times, in their rush, runners or participants not just lllegally park their vehicles, they sometimes forget to lock the doors leaving it open for thieves.

Therefore, Runrio, UNILAB and Bonifacio Global City enjoin all participants and/or expectators of the Run United 2 race on Nov. 20 and 21 to try to follow parking regulations by:
- Coming in early to avoid parking hassle/long queues
- Park only at designated parking areas

2. Parking:
Parking at the Bonifacio High Street area is on a first come, first served basis. Should anyone one wish to be able to park nearer the event venue, please do come early. The BHS parking area is open as early as 3am on Saturday and 2am on Sunday.

3. Road Closure:
On the two event days, road closure will be in effect by 4am of Nov. 20, Saturday and by 3am of Nov. 21, Sunday.

4. Command Centers:
Command Centers will be very visible during both event days. For any concerns, feel free to go to the Command Center or approach any Security Marshals in the area.

5. Security:
Security measures are in place during the course of the two-day event. For any concerns, please do approach security marshals who are present to assist everyone.
