The Greenfield Clean Air Run – UPDATED

Hi folks! This year’s edition of the Greenfield City Run will be somehow different than the previous ones as this one will be a morning race. But then again, I believe that this is done to give all runners an improved running/racing experience at Greenfield City, Sta. Rosa. One more thing, this year’s race event will mark the start for the Clean Air advocacy of the Greenfield Development Corporation.

If you are one who is looking for a deviation from the usual metro routes of the past races, this event is for you. 😉 Read on for the details.

Participating runners are given the option to avail of the FREE Shuttle Service to and from Paseo Greenfield City in lieu of private transportation. As the shuttle slots are on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS, registrants are advised upon registration that they will be availing of the shuttle service so that they will be given this shuttle stub:

IX. TRAFFIC ADVISORY

Clearly aware of the previous year’s event’s traffic management problems, Greenfield City made sure that they will be able to coordinate fully the traffic management plan with the various important entities. Traffic Advisories will also be prominently displayed in specific point/areas and in a longer duration for proper information dessimination. Here is the Traffic Advisory that they have already prepared:

X. IMPORTANT REMINDERS

• Registration may end earlier than announced deadline therefore, race kits may run out before May 22, 2010.
• A valid ID must be presented upon registration. For group registration, a photocopy of any valid ID must be presented by the representative.
• Singlet size availability will be on a first come first served basis.
• A disposable timing device will be used by all participants during the race.
• Finisher’s kits will be given upon finishing the race.
