WORLD YOUTH DAY FUN RUN

Help the Filipino youth raise funds for them to be able to join the World Youth Day 2011 this August in Madrid, Spain by signing-up for this race on May 1, 2011. Exactly on the same date, our dearest late Pope John Paul II will be beatified as Blessed Pope John Paul II – the very same person (soon ot be a Saint!) who is behind the yearly worldwide celebration of World Youth Day.

1. REGISTRATION PERIOD: April 11 – 30, 2011

2. REGISTRATION SITES:

a. Chris Sports
– SM City Manila, 404-1584
– SM Mall of Asia, 556-0260
– Glorietta, 818-6124
– SM Megamall, 633-1659
– SM City The Annex (North), 441-1889

b. 2nd Level R.O.X. Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City (1pm – 9pm)

c. A Runner’s Circle, Aloha Hotel, Quirino corner Roxas Boulevard, Manila

d. Participating Parishes of the Archdiocese of Manila (parishes in Manila, Makati, Mandaluyong, San Juan and Pasay)

3. REGISTRATION FEES:

– 3km :  PhP 400.00
– 5km :  PhP 500.00
– 10km :  PhP 650.00

*Race kit includes: Race singlet, Race Bib and Race day insurance (signed waiver)

4. SINGLET

– Sizes Available are: Extra Small, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large only. Until supplies last.
– Redemption of singlets are available at:

a. ROX Bonifacio High Street (singlet redemption begins on April 25, 2011)
b. The Activity Area on the Event Day (May 1), begins at 2:30AM, CCP Ferry Terminal

*Note: Chris Sports registration sites do not have race singlets. Redemption is available in ROX (beginning April 25) or in the EVENT Activity Area on the event day (May 1). Please present your race bibs, race registration forms and acknowledgment receipts.

5. ASSEMBLY VENUE/ACTIVITY AREA: CCP Ferry Terminal, Pedro Bukaneg Street, between Harbour Square and Folk Arts Theater

6. CALL TIMES:

a. ASSEMBLY TIME: 4:30AM

b. GUN START TIMES:
– 3km :  5:30AM
– 5km :  5:35AM
– 10km :  5:45AM

c.A HOLY MASS will be performed after the race at 7:00AM

7. RACE ROUTES:



8. WATER AND ENERGY DRINK STATIONS: can be found every 1,000 meters of the race route and also on the Finish Line

9. MEDICAL AND SECURITY: will be composed of 2 roving ambulances and a stand-by team at the event activity area
