Camsur International Marathon 2011 Registration EXTENDED!

Hello Runners!

The organizers of the Camsur International Marathon 2011 is giving runners the opportunity to still make it to one of the biggest and anticipated races this year by extending both the online and on-ground registrations!

Please note of the following extensions:

1. Manila Registration (ROX and RUNNR Stores in BHS) – extended until September 18, 2011
2. CamSur Registration – extended until September 22, 2011
3. ONLINE Registration – will be re-opened and extended until September 18, 2011

Please do note though that for those who will register via the Manila Registration Sites: ROX and RUNNR and via ONLINE from September 12 to 18, race kits will have to be claimed at CWC, CamSur. Organizers will setup a race kit claiming area from September 22 to 24 to ensure that everyone who registers during the last week prior to race event week will surely get their hands on their race kits on time.

So there folks, if you were one of those who were not able to decide earlier on whether to join this race or not, now is your chance to still make it.

Save the Date for NIKE We Run Manila 10K on October 15

Yes! There will be another Nike concept race this year and it will happen on Saturday, October 15! Dubbed as “Nike We Run Manila 10k“, this race is part of Nike City Run races which will also be held in Singapore, Seoul and if I am not mistaken, other parts of Asia.

So I am betting my Nike Free that there are a lot of questions you folks would like to be answered. Hmmm… I have just received an invite for the launch of this event the other day and would really like to say that everyone will have to wait for this launch to happen before questions are answered.

But then again, I am feeling generous and would like to share to everyone some initial details. Disclaimer though – until the launch is held, the information I have may some kinda be unofficial and thus may still change. But then again, I really would like to excite everyone so here:

1. Runrio, Inc. wil be organizing this event
2. Yes, this is one of the “Confidential Big Race” in the Runrio Events Calendar which was originally scheduled for October 16 but was changed to October 15.
3. Why a Saturday? Initial plans was for this event to be a NIGHT RACE.
4. Yup, a night race — at BGC!
5. As the event title says, yes this event will only feature a 10K race.

Other than this information, my lips are terribly sealed and so are my fingers! lol!

Just do remember everyone, you read it all here first. If our copy-pasting “friend” (NOT!!!!!) posts something like this, you will know that my blog have again been plagiarized.

Chevrolet – New Balance Power Run 2011

Chevrolet, who is incidentally celebrating their 100 years anniversary partners with New Balance in presenting to us this year’s edition of the Power Run race event. What’s more, a big change this year happens as the Chevrolet-New Balance Power Run 2011 will be organized by a different set of hands – the combination of Event King (over-all) and Runrio, Inc. (technical).

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

• Registration may end earlier than announced deadline therefore; race kits may run out before October 16, 2011.
• A valid ID must be presented upon registration. For group registration, a photocopy of any valid ID must be presented by the representative.
• Shirt size availability will be on a first come first served basis.
• A timing device will be used by all participants during the race.
