Q: How can I register for this race?
A: You can register for the Nike We Run Manila 10K at

Q: Is there a fee required for registration?
A: Yes, the entry fee is as follows:

Q: Can I register myself in more than one category?
A: No.

Q: What is included in the cost of the Nike We Run Manila 10K registration fee?
A: Manila Registration for the Nike We Run Manila 10K includes:
• A place in the Nike We Run Manila 10K race
• An exclusive Nike We Run Manila 10K Tee
• Finisher’s entitlement

Q: How do I know if I have been officially registered?
A: For Online registration, Upon successful registration, the registration confirmation slip will appear on the screen available for print. You will also receive an email with the registration confirmation slip. For Store registration, a confirmation slip will be provided by the store staff.

Q: After I have successfully registered for the event, can I change my event category?
A: No.

Q: Should I choose not to participate after I’ve registered for the event, can I withdraw?
A: Yes. However, please take note of our withdrawal policy.

Withdrawal Policy
Participants who choose not to take part in the event after having registered can choose to withdraw. However, please note that there will not be any refund. Race slots are also strictly non-transferable.

Q: Is it possible to make changes to the information I have provided after registration?
A: Yes. Just drop us an email at with the changes in your details.

Q: What should I do if I have accidentally deleted my Confirmation email?
A: Kindly send an email to with your NRIC number included in it and we will resend the confirmation slip to your email.


Q: What are the race categories?
A: Men’s & Women’s Under 25 (24 years old and below as of 15.10.11)
Men’s & Women’s 25 years old & Above (Open to all participants 25 years old and above as of 15.10.11)

Q: How does the School Challenge work?
A: When registering for the race, you can choose to run for your school by selecting the appropriate category which your school is classified under and then selecting your school from the drop down list in the online registration form.
The school in each category that has the most number of registered runners completing the Nike We Run Manila 10K race will win.


Q: What are the payment modes?
A: Participants can choose to either pay by
• eNets or
• Credit Card (VISA / Mastercard)

Q: Is the online registration system secure?
A: Yes. Our registration site is SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) coded, a security protocol which is used and reflected by HTTP Secure (https) in the website address to represent a secure connection.


Q: What is a Race Entitlement Pack?
A: The race pack is an exclusive event pack which consists of A Nike We Run Manila 10K Race Pack that includes a Nike We Run Manila 10K Tee.

Q: When and where can I collect my Race Pack?
A: All race participants must collect their race pack during the Nike We Run Manila 10K Race Pack Collection. Your race pack includes your race tee and your timing chip (D-tag).
Details of Nike We Run Manila 10K Race Pack Collection
Date: October 11-13, 2011, Tuesday – Thursday
Time: 10am to 10pm
Venue: Bonifacio High Street (in front of Runnr), Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City

Important: Please bring your ID and confirmation slip to collect your race pack.
For those who are unable to personally collect their Race Entry Pack, please download and fill in this letter of authorization. Your representative must show this form along with a copy of your Confirmation Slip.

Q: Is it mandatory to pick up my Race Pack?
A: Yes. As the race pack includes your unique Nike We Run Manila 10K Event Tee with your race number printed on it as well as your timing tag (D-Tag).

Q: Can someone else pick up my Race Entitlement pack on my behalf?
A: Yes, you can have someone else pick up your race pack on your behalf should you not be able to make it. However, you’ll need to issue that person a letter of authorization and a copy of your valid ID (school, employee, SSS, TIN, Driver’s License, Passport).

Q: Is it possible to collect my Race Pack on Race Day?
A: No.

Q: Can I have my Race Kit mailed/couriered to me?
A: No. Should you not be able to make it yourself, kindly authorize somebody else to pick it up on your behalf.


Q: Where should I line up for the start?
A: Entry to the start pen is accessible from 9th Avenue (in between 32nd and 34th streets) at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig..

Q: Where can I leave my belongings?
A: Baggage deposit will be made available to all participants. Participants are advised to arrive earlier to deposit their bags to avoid delays.
While maximum care and security will be enforced, the organizers will not be responsible for any loss or damaged items or delays in retrieving bags.

Q: Is it necessary to wear the D-Tag?
A: Yes, all runners will have their race timed by ChronoTrack.

Q: Do I need to return the D-Tag on completing the Race?
A: No. The D-Tag is a disposable one time use race tag.

Q: Do I need to use the Nike+ Sport Kit or SportBand during the race?
A: The official race timing device for the physical race is the D-Tag. You can choose to wear your Nike+ Sport Kit or SportBand during the race.

Q: What happens if I am injured along the Race route?
A: First Aid stations can be found along the race route as well. You may also alert Route Marshals or patrolling Paramedics regarding your injury.


Q: What is the Race Route?
A: The Start/End points will be along 34th Avenue at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Nike and race organizer though can change the route, start/finish and activity areas anytime without prior notice.

Q: Will there be a cut-off time for the race?
A: Yes. Participants will need to finish the race within two and a half hours from the flag off time. Participants who fail to meet this cut-off time will not be entitled to receive the finisher entitlement.

Q: What kind of finisher entitlement will I get after I complete the race?
A: All finishers will receive an exclusive finishers’ entitlement upon completion of the race. However, please note that there will not be any finisher certificate mailed out thereafter.


Q: What are the measurements of the Nike We Run Manila 10K event tee?
A: Sizing Chart:

Q: What if the Nike We Run Manila 10K event tee does not fit me? Can I still participate? Can I exchange for a different size?
A: As all participants are required to wear the Nike We Run Manila 10K event tee during the event, you are advised to refer to the sizing chart. Kindly note that requests for changes in sizes will not be entertained.
Note that any kind of modification to the race tee will not be permitted. Participants without or who have modified the official race tee will not be allowed to race.

Q: Are walkers permitted to participate in the Nike We Run Manila 10K?
A: Yes. But should you wish to walk during the race, kindly keep to the right side of the route to allow faster competitors to pass.

Q: Could I bring my pet dog with me for the Race?
A: No. Pets are strictly not allowed at the event site.

Q: Will wheelchairs, bikes, skates or strollers be allowed on the Race route?
A: No. Instruments with built-in wheels other than those on the official vehicles will not be allowed onto race course.

Q: How many participants are expected at this year’s Race?
A: 8,000 runners are expected to participate at this year’s Race.


Q: Are my family and friends able to come support me at the Event?
A: Yes, supporters are most welcome to cheer you on anywhere along the entire race route.


Q: What prizes will be awarded for each Category?

A: Men’s & Women’s Open Category
1st – PhP15,000 cash + PhP15,000 Nike voucher
2nd – PhP9,000 cash + PhP9,000 Nike voucher
3rd – PhP6,000 cash + PhP6,000 Nike voucher

Men’s & Women’s Under 25 Category
1st – PhP20,000 Nike voucher
2nd – PhP15,000 Nike voucher
3rd – PhP10,000 Nike voucher

School Challenge
Winner will win PhP100,000 cash + PhP50,000 Nike voucher

Where and when will the Awards Presentation Ceremony be held?
The Awards Ceremony will be held at the end of the event.


Q: Will there be Nike City 10K Manila runs and how do I register for it?
A: Yes, there will be Nike City 10K Manila training runs to help prepare you for the race. Nike City 10K Manila Running Clinics have already started in select Universities to help student-participants prepare for the race. 
Running clinics will also be held at the Bonifacio High Street for runners. Please check back for the details on how to register for this running clinic.


Q: How do I get to the Race Site?
A: The Race Start is located at 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. There are various ways to get to the race site. You can get to the race site:

•By Car/Taxi
Those coming from Quezon City, Pasig City and East area may take C5 road going south bound. Exit to Bonifacio Global City and turn left to first stop light going to Market Market and Serendra.
There is no parking available on site. Parking is only available at surrounding Bonifacio High Street, Market Market, and Serendra areas.

•By Public Bus
Take a bus going to Ayala MRT Station, go down at the Ayala MRT North Exit and taka a short walk to McKinley Road. Take a bus with the logo “Bonifacio Global City” or “The Fort Bus”.

Q: Will there be road closures and parking facilities at the start and finish line?
A: Yes, there will be road closures. Parts of the race route on the event day will be closed to traffic. Please refer to the official road advisory in the official race guide for specific road closure timings. Parking facilities will be advised at a later date.
There is no parking available on site. Parking is only available at surrounding Bonifacio Global City Parking areas.

  3. sir can we request for a softcopy of the registration form so that one of us can go to manila for the registration, we are from tarlac city and we would like to join the run. there are 10 of us, we tried to register online but to no avail. thanks

    • Hello Lito! We do not have a registration form. What you can do is send a copy of your valid ID to your friend who will be coming over to Manila to register. As to your online registration problems, I would like to advise you to try accessing the site via a different connection/ISP. Me and my friend have also experienced online registration problems but was able to register online successfully when we used a different connection.

      But if you would like to just register in-store via a representative, that will be ok too. Just be sure to send a copy of your valid ID and give also the right information about your Race Tee size (kindly refer to the sizing chart). thanks!
