The PUMA Time Collection: All Treats, No Tricks!

A few days before halloween, the newest collection of PUMA Time was launched in a colorful and treat-filled luncheon with mainstream media, fashion and running bloggers in attendance.

Puma Time Global Senior Product Manager, Jeremie Pannetier talking about the newest PUMA Time collection

PUMA did an all-treats, no tricks approach in introducing its new timepieces. Starting from the very filling lunch, the very interesting video presentation, the exciting give-aways and treats and the much-awaited unveiling of the stars of the moment – the newest collection of PUMA TIME watches.

Some of the Puma new timepieces were shown to us by Brazilian fashion models and elite-Kenyan runners Elliud and Susan

The unveiling was done by PUMA Time Brand Manager Judith Staples, Puma Time Global Senior Product Manager, Jeremie Pannetier, L Timestudio Director Vhon Yao, Puma Time APAC’s Regional Sales Manager, Bill Young and L Timestudio VP for Operations Reggie Serrano

From the presentations and the press release, I gathered that PUMA wanted to bring the message that sports is more than just performance. Sports is also FUN. This is pretty evident in this new collection where form is given more concentration in the design creation combined with just enough set of functions that one will ever need.

The eye candy colors of the latest Puma timepieces blended perfectly well with this Candy Buffet. Everyone go to take home candies from this buffet as a treat!

each guest also got to take home three give-aways from these sports-related items, again as part of the all-treats no tricks package!

The watches are super-slim and lightweight and comes  in colors that even match existing PUMA running shoes. Best not only for working-out, serious play but also for going-out. Now, runners/sports buffs can be fashionable too!

Clearly, these Puma watches are not just technical devices that show time, it is also a modern-design product that combines sports, lifestyle and fashion.

Here folks are some of the watches from the new collection, choose one, or heck, choose all that is to your likingI The watches after all, costs only around the Php2,000 to Php3,000 price range. 😉

FAAS:

Faas for Men

Faas for Women

The FAAS (which means “fast” in Jamaican) watch collection, takes inspiration from the cool and relaxed style of the world-class, record setting sprinters and runners from Jamaica, and perfectly implements PUMA’s super light weight running collection. It features a stylized lightweight geometry, breathable strap and continued ultra slim case design (9.6mm), as well as all the necessary functions for serious runner, including a 10/50 lap memory with split and lap time measurements, interval timer with countdown functions, dual daily alarms and more.

FORM:

Puma FORM

It’s often said that form follows function.

At PUMA Time, they believe in achieving standout excellence in both. The contoured FORM watch proves the point in an extraordinary single form injection molded “baby” soft silicone.

Its face emphasizes ‘conspicuous cool’ 3-D raised index numbers, and they added their signature racing formstripe logo, running from 4 to 7 o’clock for a memorable visual result.

Sleek, sweet and very covetable. In eight high-appeal colors, including nuanced Mediterranean blues and fuchsias, winter white and cloud grey, all of which play up to today’s elevated color sensibilities. Water-resistant to 5 ATM.

MOTORSPORT:

Puma Time Motorsport Collection goes into fifth gear with remarkable designs, underscored with sleek, sexy racing multifunction and chronograph engineering

The Puma Time Collection is inspired by the language of modern motorsport design, which aims to keep oversized racing wheels on the ground, while moving at speed, using specialized body shape features. Further, the men’s styles are offered in sharp black with a PUMA red accent and the women’s in a sleek satin silver stainless steel or winter white with a PUMA red accenting. The highly select designs present on-trend oversized dial options, balanced by specialized luxury details, including multi-layered faces, multi-dimensional hour mark figures, and bold-weighted IP plated stainless steel bands. This season, PUMA Time Motorsport collections delineate the very essence of modern style and contemporary life.

JAM:

PUMA thought it was important to pay tribute to the great Jamaica Nation in this special year.

PUMA time is proud to bring a dedicated limited collection, of both new and heritage styles – from this season Faas watch to the Cardiac II featuring an uber user-friendly heart-rate monitor – featuring the infamous Jamaican colors – black, for the opulent coffee; green, for the luxurious tropical forest; yellow, for the everlasting sunshine and the endless beaches.
