The Alaska Aces, one of the most successful franchises in the Philippine Basketball Association, formally launched the Alaska Aces App recently in posh fashion via an event at the Imperial Bar in Bonifacio Global City. With members of the whole team, from the team managers, players up to team owner Mr. Fred Uytengsu in attendance, this innovation brings the team closer to the public and its fans, the Gatas Republik.

Mr. Uytengsu in his speech said, “Launching the Alaska Aces app is about giving our fans continuous access to the team. In the connected and digital world we live in, we realize how many people tend to engage and this app provides such opportunity. We have always sought to be a pioneer in the PBA so whether it be the first team to provide rings to the Champion team, retiring a player’s number or develop a dedicated website, Alaska has been in the forefront of new developments.”

He further added, “My favorite saying is GOOD ENOUGH, NEVER IS and that applies to all aspects of my franchise. I’m confident this new feature will be enjoyed by all our fans and perhaps attract new ones.”

This Aces smartphone application, the first ever from a PBA team, allows the public access to current events, news, team profile with photos and videos of the team. Most importantly fans can get to follow their favorite team player’s activities on and off the court as these can also be seen via the Passport feature of this application. The application also entitles user with points from regular use which will enable them to avail of great prizes.

Designed to be compatible for use in both iPhone and Android phones, the Alaska Aces app is now available for download for FREE.
