Summit Natural Drinking Water celebrates the opening of 7- Eleven’s 1000th store by supporting Run 1000 on January 19, 2014 at Aseana City in Parañaque. The unique marathon, which originated in January 2013 with Run 800 continues the tradition by providing a race that is both for long- and short-distance running enthusiasts.

Long-distance runners can enjoy completing their 10K, 16K, or 21K half-marathon run along CAVITEX where roads have been closed off for the safety of participants. Meanwhile, an organized race course has been set up for short-distance runners along Macapagal Ave. Another unique factor of this run is the Self-Selected Wave Starts, which enables people to run with their friends with the same skill or speed by choosing where to begin their race.

Winners by age categories will all be receiving medals while the top 3 Filipino male and female winners of the 21K marathon will be given the chance to run in the Beijing International Marathon, with all expenses paid by Run 1000.

Runners can register at and pay at any 7- Eleven store.
