It’s here – the Under Armour Run Crew and the new Charged Bandit 2 Shoes!

In their desire to help runners be a better version of themselves, Under Armour Philippines initially launched the UA Run Crew with its brand ambassadors, digital influencers and various members of the digital media at the posh Kerry SportsGym at Shangri-La BGC last night.

The event started with a challenging crossfit session led by Under Armour Test of Will Southeast Asia Champion, Zoe Pond-McPherson and followed by a wicked but fun 4-minute workout session by UA Run Crew Coach Toni Saret.

It was a fitting preview to what is in store for runners who will choose to be members of the UA Run Crew – a tailor-made program for active lifestyle enthusiasts and aspiring runners which will provide a step-by-step guide towards a person’s objective in running.

The program will consist of community runs every Saturday that comes along with an in-depth seminar with fitness experts to flesh out every essential aspect about running, including dynamic warm-up exercises, injury prevention, race day nutrition, and many more.

Aside from the UA Run Crew, Under Armour will also be introducing the UA Record and MapMyRun digital applications that track and monitor the progress of runners.

The UA Run Crew will be headed by brand ambassador and program director Jim Saret, who is the sports and fitness-training consultant of the Philippine Olympic Committee and currently serves as the president of Scientific Sports and Fitness Council of the Philippines.

The UA Run Crew launch also coincided with the very first outing in the Philippines of the UA’s highly-acclaimed running shoe model, the UA Charged Bandit 2. UA Brand Ambassadors, actor and MMA enthusiast JC De Vera and swimmer Johan Aguilar, UA affiliate trainer Kat Geronimo-Garcia as well as the ladies from the Girls Run Breakfast squad, each shared their impressions and experience in using the Bandit 2.

The UA Charged Bandit 2 is a good running partner as it sports the Molded Micro G® foot-bed that takes the shape of the foot for great cushioning as well as a rubber outsole that offers full ground contact with deep tense grooves for extra flexibility.

A grand launch is also being prepared for the Under Armour Run Crew which will be held on October 1 at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater featuring not only international trainers Coaches Jim and Toni Saret but also Under Armour Philippines top brand ambassador, actor and sports enthusiast Piolo Pascual.
