Here’s how you can be one of the lucky 10:

1. To gain an entry to the contest, one only has to do the following:

2012 RUN UNITED 3 – Complete Details

MESSAGE FROM COACH RIO:

Dear Run United Runrio Trilogy 3 Participants,

It’s time for Run United once more! Run United 3 promises to be bigger and better than Run United 2.  My RunRio team and I always aim for our Run United runners to have the best race experience possible.

The highlight of this leg is the 32km Afroman Distance.   With the increase in runners aiming to finish a full 42km marathon, we saw the need to add a unique category not found in any other race.  A 32km run is essential in every marathon aspirant’s training program as it is the longest distance he must do before attempting the full marathon.  We are encouraging runners who have done 21km races to step up and go the Afroman Distance!

Our usual race categories are still included of course—the 500m dash, 3/5/10/21km.  There’s a distance for every runner—newbie, intermediate, advanced, recreational, and elite.  We hope to see old and new faces on September 16.

Thank you for choosing to join the Run United Runrio Trilogy.  We are grateful for your continued support and patronage.  I sincerely wish you more years of happy running.

Upon in-store registration, registered participants will instantly receive their Run United 3 race singlets.

The 2012 Run United 3, 32km & 21km Finisher’s Medal is a unique medal by itself and at the same time is a unique part of a 3-piece puzzle made up of medals from the RunRio Trilogy/ Run United Series legs. Register and Finish the 21km/21km/32km of legs 1/2/3 respectively and form the medal puzzle which is the 2012 unique RunRio Trilogy/ Run United Series Trilogy Collectors Medal!

Each leg 1 – 21km, leg 2 – 21km and leg 3 – 21km and 32km finishers will get to receive a 3 inch-radius pie-shaped medal like this:

If a runner finishes all three legs (RU1, RU2, RU3) in the category 21km/21km/32km or 21km/21km/21km, he/she will be able to form this medal puzzle:

REMINDERS:

• Registration may end earlier than announced deadline because race kits may run out before Sept.  9, 2012.
• A Valid ID must be presented upon registration. For group registration, a photocopy of any valid ID & picture must be presented by the representative.

• A timing device will be used by all participants during the race.

Hello folks! For tomorrow’s RunRio Trilogy Leg 3 – Run United 3 race, RunRio released the following parking plan for all race participants’ information:
