I started this blog wanting it to be a journal of every bit of my experience in the outdoors be it mtbiking or running. However, as it has always been my passion to write and to talk about all of my other interests, experiences and encounters, I have thought of making this blog as a journal of what the world gives me to take and to share beyond running and mtbiking.

RACE GUIDELINES:
Control Point. There will be at least one control point out on the course. It will be manned for the full 24 hours and race numbers will be checked. WALK, WALK,WALK (there is no riding in the TZ)
Call out your number to the timing crew to assist in recording your lap
Help your teammate with the transition
After you have completed the transition, VERY promptly clear the area and move outside the TZ to catch your breath, have a chat or warm down

Last month, right after getting back from a week-long out of town work, I gave in to an adidas Women FitSquad session invite – that was after battling with my psyche which was telling me to “no! stay home, rest and catch some sleep!”.
It was a brilliant decision after all because the event, which was held at the Kerry Sports in Shangri-La BGC, so far was the most fun I had doing fitness activities with a lot of women! We did HIIT, Modified Calisthenics and my favorite that night – the AcroYoga. It was an evening filled with positive energy that was meant to boost our power, mobility, and speed! Cheers to adidas and the adidas girls who led the workout sessions – Kayleen Ortiz, Marj Marcelo, and Lexi Gangayco.

that’s me and Redg (onereyna.wordpress.com) trying out AcroYoga! It was fun and I loved doing it!
The adidas Women FitSquad session was made more fun with exciting challenges which rewarded achievers with cool adidas products as prizes and best of all, we got to participate in the session with a new pair of the adidas PureBOOST X for Women in its new colorway a surprise treat from adidas! As the new pair is my second PureBOOST X, I can really say that FitHappiness = having two pairs of your favorite shoe, both in eye candy colors!
adidas PureBOOST X is form meets function and it has always been a winner for me!
PureBOOST X is the unique running shoe created solely for women, by women. Based on years of testing and research with women around the world, adidas created a sleek, form fitting running shoe built to meet the relentless energy of their active lifestyle. While most running shoes are adaptations of male shoes PureBOOST X was designed with only the female athlete in mind, resulting in a high performance meets high fashion running shoe for women.
This new Ray Red colorway of the PureBOOST X colourway is now available in stores and will be featured on the feet of some of the world’s greatest athletes this season.
PureBOOST X’s distinctive floating arch and adjustable lacing system hug the contours of the female foot to deliver a personalised, supportive fit and completely fresh look and feel. An adaptive stretch mesh upper wraps and flatters the foot while providing ventilation to keep runs cool and comfortable. PureBOOST X also features a full length BOOST midsole, made of thousands of tiny capsules, designed to unleash energy with every stride. A Stretch Web outsole allows for flex at any point enabling the foot to maintain its natural motion during a run.
From lacing up through cooling down or making a statement with style, PureBOOST X feels exhilarating and looks amazing the moment you put it on.
The August session of the adidas Women Fit Squad has passed but whenever I and my friends who were there meet-up, we still can’t get over recalling the fun and exhilarating moments of that night at Kerry Sports. It was truly one fit girl bonding session that has boosted our fit squad goals!
my awesome FitSquad loot!

“The body does not want you to do this. As you run, it tells you to stop but the mind must be strong. You always go too far for your body. You must handle the pain with strategy...It is not age; it is not diet. It is the will to succeed.” - Jacqueline Gareau
