Finally, here are the official Run United 3 route maps and call times as released by RunRio, Inc. See you all at the SM Mall of Asia on Sunday, November 13 for the third and last leg of the RunRio Trilogy: the Run United 3 race event! 😉

As the month of October (my blog’s anniversary-month by the way!), we all look forward to a race-packed November (as if October was not the same!) and most of all, most of us also look forward to participating in the third and last leg of the RunRio Trilogy – the Run United 3 race on November 13. Majority of you probably made sure to register for this early as slots in the past races tend to get filled-up even before the registration deadline. Now for those of you who are still unregistered and who happen to be reading this blog, here is a treat from me (courtesy of RunRio – their blog anniversary gift to me too!), to you! 

I will be raffling off (through  the online facility randomizer.org), FIVE (5) RUNRIO GIFT VOUCHERS which will entitle the bearer to a COMPLIMENTARY registration for the RUNRIO TRILOGY LEG 3, RUN UNITED 3 race. So how do we go about it? Read on for the contest mechanics:

1. Answer the question: WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF A PERFECT FAMILY-FRIENDLY RACE? WHY?
2. Post your entry as a comment to this post. In your entry, please do not forget to include your full name and email address.
3. Only one entry is allowed per runner. Multiple entries will be grounds for disqualification. (Use of a different email address is not an exception.)
4. All entries will NOT be published until after the contest period.
5. All entries made after 10:00 PM of November 2, 2011 cut-off will not be included in the raffle.
6. Contest ends November 2, 2011 at 10:00 PM.

Run United 3 2011 – RunRio Trilogy Leg 3 In-Store Registration Postponed

Hi Folks! Here is an official announcement released by RunRio, Inc. regarding the postponement of the Run United 3 In-Store Registration. Read on!

Dear Runners,
 
Due to the unfavorable conditions that the recent Typhoon Pedring brought to the country, the scheduled delivery and receipt of the official RunRio Trilogy Leg 3: Run United 3 singlets were not met. Due to this delay, RunRio decided to move the In-Store Registration to October 7, Friday to ensure that runners will be able to bring with them a complete race kit upon registration.
 
Online Registration on the other hand, will still open as scheduled on Monday, October 3, 2011.

RunRio Trilogy Leg 3: Run United 3

Finally, the details to the much awaited Leg  3 of the RunRio Trilogy 2011, the Run United 3 race is now available. For this year, the third leg goes to the SM Mall of Asia to give runners a better running experience considering that BGC has a number of on-going construction projects. It is a challenge and at the same time something that we should wait and see as another change for this year’s third leg is that all race categories will all be held in just one event day. How RunRio can pass this challenge with flying colors is for everyone to see (GULP!) 😉 Meanwhile, here are the details:

10. IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

• 500M is open to 5-12 years old. Parent / Guardian must be present during registration.
• Registration may end earlier than announced deadline therefore, race kits may run out before November 6, 2011.
• A valid ID must be presented upon registration. For group registration, a photocopy of any valid ID must be presented by the representative.
• Singlet size availability will be on a first come first served basis.
• A timing device will be used by all participants during the race.
• Finisher’s kits will be given upon finishing the race.
